A condition that can affect people with SCI at T6 and above that involves a sudden rise in blood pressure. The rise in blood pressure may be accompanied by heart rate changes, headache, sweating, and other symptoms. When severe, autonomic dysreflexia is a medical emergency that requires immediate treatment.
